Services will be conducted in the student's home, with the possibility of virtual delivery to be determined.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Special Education Adapted Curriculum K-12 license
• Expertise in working with students with significant support needs, including non-verbal communication
• Demonstrated experience managing and de-escalating self-injurious behaviors
• Patience, creativity, and resourcefulness in adapting instruction
• Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation of hours and progress

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized, compensatory special education services to one student, following their unique learning plan
• Implement specialized strategies and interventions that address communication needs and promote student safety
• Collaborate closely with caregivers and other professionals to align on effective supports
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and consistent teaching environment in the student’s home
• Regularly document student growth and report on completed instructional hours
• Adapt to various instructional modalities if required (in-person or virtual, pending confirmation)
