Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead educator for special education programs, advocating for K-5 students’ learning and growth.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators to promote safe and supportive learning environments.
• Monitor, document, and report student progress toward IEP goals and academic benchmarks.
• Maintain adherence to all special education laws, regulations, and district policies.
• Facilitate professional development for colleagues regarding inclusive practices and disability awareness.
• Act as a liaison between families, the school, and external partners to coordinate services and resources.
