Special Education Teacher | Cupertino, California

Bring your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to elementary students in an engaging and supportive environment close to Cupertino, CA. Two contract-to-hire positions are available: a full-time Mild/Moderate Resource Teacher role at two elementary schools (40 hours per week) beginning October 5 and lasting through the end of the school year, and a part-time Mild/Moderate Resource Teacher assignment for one day each week (8 hours) at a single elementary school, starting immediately and also continuing through the end of the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• California credential in Special Education (Mild/Moderate Disabilities)
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Strong skills in differentiating instruction and supporting diverse learners
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with mild/moderate disabilities within the resource setting
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to coordinate services
• Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings
