Bring your passion for inclusive education to an engaging contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting. This full-time, onsite role focuses on supporting young learners in grades K-2 within an Inclusion Co-Teaching classroom. You'll collaborate with general education teachers to promote student growth and ensure all children have the tools they need to succeed. Enjoy a manageable caseload, typically averaging 15 students, where you can make a meaningful difference every day.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-appropriate credentials required)
• Experience or strong interest in K-2 inclusion co-teaching environments
• Understanding of IEP processes and ability to adapt lesson plans accordingly
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging, differentiated instruction based on student needs
• Strong classroom management and organization skills
• Previous experience in an elementary school setting is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:
• Co-teach alongside general education staff to deliver curriculum and support all learners
• Develop, implement, and track progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Provide direct instruction, interventions, and accommodations as necessary
• Regularly communicate with parents, staff, and specialists regarding student growth
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all special education laws and regulations
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events as required
