Special Education Teacher - Cusseta, GA

What You’ll Bring:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working in elementary school settings, particularly grades K-2
• Strong background in inclusion/co-teaching models
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

• Positive, patient attitude and genuine enthusiasm for supporting students with diverse needs

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored for both small group and co-taught full-class settings
• Working collaboratively with general education teachers to ensure all students’ needs are met in the inclusion model
• Managing a caseload of approximately 15 students and maintaining accurate, up-to-date IEP documentation
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies to maximize development and growth
• Participating in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and ongoing professional development
