In this role, you will work with diverse student groups throughout the K-8 spectrum, providing instructional interventions tailored to individual educational plans. Your day may include small group instruction, one-on-one support, and facilitating collaboration between classroom teachers and other specialists.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education certification and teaching license (K-8 preferred)
- Experience supporting elementary and/or middle school students
- Proficiency with instructional interventions in reading and math
- Familiarity with creating and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Compassion, flexibility, and a commitment to meeting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pull-out interventions in reading and math for K-8 students
