Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Special Education Teacher Certification and State License required
  • Experience working with elementary and/or middle school grade levels (K-8)
  • Proficiency in delivering reading and math interventions to diverse learners
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to manage small group instruction and adapt materials for individual student needs
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide pull-out special education services in reading and math to students within K-8 grade spans
  • Design and implement tailored intervention plans and instructional strategies
  • Assess students’ strengths, needs, and progress; update goals accordingly
  • Maintain appropriate records and complete required documentation
  • Partner with classroom teachers to align interventions and support generalization of skills
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to team decisions for student support
