In this role, you will work with diverse student groups throughout the K-8 spectrum, providing instructional interventions tailored to individual educational plans. Your day may include small group instruction, one-on-one support, and facilitating collaboration between classroom teachers and other specialists.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education certification and teaching license (K-8 preferred)
  • Experience supporting elementary and/or middle school students
  • Proficiency with instructional interventions in reading and math
  • Familiarity with creating and implementing IEPs
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassion, flexibility, and a commitment to meeting diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pull-out interventions in reading and math for K-8 students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure individual growth
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Document and report on student progress and program effectiveness
  • Support students as they work toward achieving their IEP goals
