Middle School Elementary Special Education Teacher | Dacono, Colorado

In this role, you will collaborate with general education staff, develop individualized education plans, and deliver tailored instruction to students who benefit from additional academic support. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current state certification and licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Proven ability to work with elementary and middle school students (grades K-8)
• Experience designing and implementing reading and math interventions
• Familiarity with creating and executing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for family and teacher partnerships
• Adaptability and a student-centered approach to instruction

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide pull-out and/or small group instruction in reading and math for K-8 students
• Assess students’ needs to inform instructional strategies and IEP development
• Track academic progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Maintain compliance with all special education documentation requirements
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
