Special Education Teacher | Dacula, Georgia

Inspire and support students as a Special Education Teacher in a rewarding contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year. Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Georgia SPED License with the required endorsements
• Special certification for Adaptive SPED (for North Jackson Elementary: Autism Level 3 classroom)
• SPED General Curriculum certification (for West Jackson Middle School: ASD Level 1 or Adaptive MI/MO self-contained)
• Demonstrated experience with students who have significant academic and physical needs is strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments 

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction to students in self-contained classrooms, tailoring lesson plans to each learner’s needs
• Provide ongoing assessment and progress monitoring
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
• Foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment that maximizes student growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with all state and federal regulations

This is a full-time, onsite contract role totaling 37.5 hours per week, running from late July 2026 through late May 2027. Become an integral part of a supportive school community dedicated to student achievement and development.
