Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Experience or strong interest in working with elementary students
  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work in both resource and self-contained environments

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide differentiated instruction and support in resource (grades 2-3) and self-contained (K-2) settings
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and families
  • Track student progress and update documentation
  • Foster an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
