Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education EC-12 certification (required)
  • Content area certification preferred
  • Previous experience in middle school special education or inclusion settings highly valued

  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Passion for fostering an accessible, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instructional and behavioral support to students with diverse learning needs in inclusion classrooms
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt lessons, materials, and assessments
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
  • Engage in regular team meetings and communicate effectively with families and support staff
  • Employ evidence-based strategies and differentiated instruction
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
