Multiple contract positions are open on campuses within the area, including opportunities for full-time and part-time schedules, catering to both core Special Education instruction and resource education. What you will bring:

• Valid Special Education certification or eligibility (EC-12 or K-12)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in self-contained, resource, or inclusion settings
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet student needs
• Strong collaboration skills for working with classroom teachers, school staff, and families
• Commitment to promoting an inclusive and positive learning environment

Your role will include:

• Designing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students with varied academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Developing, monitoring, and adjusting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Utilizing effective classroom management and behavior intervention strategies
• Communicating regularly with parents and support staff
• Participating in ARD/IEP meetings and collaborating with a weekly visiting Autism Consultant
• Full-time hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM; Part-time hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (varies by campus and position)

• 2 Resource SPED Teacher positions at the Irving site
