Special Education Teacher - Dallas, Texas

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Texas SPED EC–12 certificate
• Secondary Math certification required
• Previous experience working with middle school students strongly preferred
• Solid background in delivering math curriculum and differentiated instruction in a special education setting
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging, accessible math lessons tailored to diverse student needs
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring for each student
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment, promoting growth and self-advocacy
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments
• Support students in developing math skills, organization, and academic independence
