A full-time position is available supporting a Special Education Pre-K program, working with children ages 3-5 who have a range of developmental needs. This engaging role runs from August 4th, 2026, through May 21st, 2027, offering the chance to help young learners build foundational skills in a supportive environment.

As part of a dedicated school team, you will play an essential part in fostering growth, creating inclusive learning experiences, and supporting students who may be non-verbal or minimally verbal—with varying levels of independence. The role involves assisting with personal care (toileting and feeding) as well as implementing behavioral and academic supports.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with Special and General Education endorsements for Pre-K
• Experience in special education or with early childhood-aged students
• Knowledge of strategies for supporting non-verbal communication and behavioral needs
• Comfort with hands-on care for young children, including toileting/diapering and feeding

Primary Duties:

• Deliver individualized instruction within the Special Education Pre-K curriculum
• Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals and related service providers
• Provide positive behavioral supports and communicate proactively with families
• Support students with daily living skills, including assisting with hygiene and mealtimes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
