Details:

• Full-time position, 37.5–40 hours per week
• Hours: 7:45am–3:45pm, weekdays aligned with the academic calendar
• School year: August 5th through May 21st, 2027, with SPED training and teacher pre-planning beginning the last week of July
• No toileting or diapering responsibilities required

Open Roles: Position 1: 6th Grade Co-Teaching Math and Science

• Co-taught inclusion setting
• 10–12 students (ages 11–12), with exceptionalities including Autism, OHI, SLD, MID, and EBD
• Some students may follow pre-established behavioral plans

Position 2: 7th/8th Grade Co-Teaching ELA and Science

• Co-taught inclusion setting
• 10–12 students (ages 12–14), eligible for services such as Autism, OHI, SLD, MID, and EBD
• Behavioral plans in place as needed

Key Qualifications:

• Valid GaPSC SPED Consultative P-12 Teaching Endorsement (active status required)
• Experience working in inclusive and co-taught classrooms preferred
• Strong collaboration skills with general educators and support staff
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to foster supportive learning environments for students transitioning to higher grade levels
