- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Proven experience or comfort working with ASD and non-verbal students
- Understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior management techniques
- Ability to collaborate closely with a diverse team of professionals across multiple schools

- Strong communication and adaptive skills to engage with students and families
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specially designed instruction to K-12 students with diverse learning needs
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
- Collaborating with fellow teachers, therapists, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive support
- Using evidence-based strategies to address academic, communication, and social skills development
- Maintaining accurate records and progress documentation in compliance with school and district policies
- Engaging proactively with parents and guardians as partners in each student's education
