This full-time contract opportunity is available for a skilled Special Education Teacher to support a Pre-K program for children ages 3-5. Working in a dynamic and caring elementary school setting, you’ll play a crucial role in helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with both Special and General Education Endorsements for Pre-K age groups
• Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar setting
• Ability to work with young children who are non-verbal or have limited verbal skills
• Experience supporting students with toileting/diapering and assisted feeding needs
• Patience, compassion, and a creative approach to behavior management
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized support and accommodations tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Assisting and guiding students through daily routines, including toileting and feeding
• Communicating effectively with families, education specialists, and related service providers
• Developing and implementing instructional and behavioral strategies to help students progress
• Tracking and reporting on student progress, maintaining thorough and confidential documentation
• Promoting a positive, supportive classroom culture for all learners
