Preferred Candidates Will Hold:
- Active California teaching credential in Special Education, with one or more of the following: Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Extensive Support Needs (Moderate/Severe), or Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
- California State Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential (or eligibility in process)
- Experience working with PK-12 students in specialized classroom settings
- Ability to adapt instruction to accommodate a variety of learning styles and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Proven skills in collaborating with school teams, families, and support providers
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and delivering meaningful, differentiated instruction for students with unique learning needs
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to shape inclusive classroom experiences
- Maintaining detailed records and providing progress updates to families and other stakeholders
- Participating in professional development and supporting a positive, student-centered school culture
