Key Qualifications:
- Active Special Education teaching license in South Carolina
- Required endorsements and certifications for teaching Special Education
- Prior experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students in special education settings highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom culture
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and adapt instruction to meet the needs of 3K and 4K students
- Monitor progress and maintain documentation according to IEP guidelines and state requirements
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
- Employ evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions
- Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
