Key Qualifications:

  • Active Special Education teaching license in South Carolina
  • Required endorsements and certifications for teaching Special Education
  • Prior experience working with early childhood or elementary-aged students in special education settings highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom culture

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and adapt instruction to meet the needs of 3K and 4K students
  • Monitor progress and maintain documentation according to IEP guidelines and state requirements
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
  • Employ evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions
  • Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
