Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of an active South Carolina Special Education License with Early Childhood endorsements
  • Experience or strong interest in teaching students with developmental delays, particularly in a PreK setting
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and best practices for differentiated instruction
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, staff, and specialists

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to three-year-old students in a self-contained classroom
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each child’s unique needs and goals
  • Maintain positive, supportive relationships with students and families to nurture confidence and independence
  • Partner with paraprofessionals and related service providers to ensure a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere
  • Collect progress data and maintain detailed records to inform instructional planning and compliance

Additional Details:

  • Full-time, onsite schedule at 37.5 hours weekly
  • Start date as soon as possible, continuing through May 21, 2027
  • Single opening for an enthusiastic, qualified professional
