Special Education Teacher - Dalzell, South Carolina

Key Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education license with Early Childhood endorsements
• Proven experience or strong interest in teaching preschool children with diverse learning needs
• Solid understanding of early intervention strategies for developmental delays (DD PreK)
• Strong communication skills with colleagues, students, and families
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability in a dynamic classroom
• Available for the contract duration from ASAP through May 21, 2027
• Willingness to maintain an onsite presence for all scheduled hours

What You'll Do:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to PreK students (3-year-olds) with delays
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned to student IEPs
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with therapists, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Cultivate a nurturing, inclusive learning environment
• Participate actively in meetings, staff trainings, and professional development opportunities
