Required Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut Educator Certificate with a Special Education (SPED) endorsement
• Full-time availability for the duration of the 2026-2027 school year (August–May)
• Experience or comfort in a self-contained special education setting
• Willingness and ability to work with students of any age group

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and implement effective IEPs in a self-contained classroom environment
• Collaborate with families, speech therapists, administrators, and other specialists
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed
