Required Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut Educator Certificate with a Special Education (SPED) endorsement
- Full-time availability for the duration of the 2026-2027 school year (August–May)
- Experience or comfort in a self-contained special education setting
- Willingness and ability to work with students of any age group
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement effective IEPs in a self-contained classroom environment
- Collaborate with families, speech therapists, administrators, and other specialists
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed
- Maintain accurate records and support a positive, inclusive classroom environment
