With a weekday schedule from 7:15 AM to 2:30 PM and an assignment running from now through June 11, you'll make a positive difference every day by facilitating student growth and partnering with passionate educators. Your expertise will be critical in helping students progress toward their IEP goals while ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possess current Connecticut Special Education Teacher Certification for grades 9–12 (provisional licenses will not be considered)
  • Prior experience with mild to moderate student populations is highly desirable
  • Understanding of best practices in individualized instruction and behavioral support
  • Skillful communicator with the ability to collaborate closely with general education teachers and other support staff
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining thorough documentation in line with special education protocols

  • Deliver targeted instruction aligned with IEP objectives in both inclusion and resource classroom settings
  • Collaborate with general education staff to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies
