Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with middle school students (preferred)
  • Strong instructional, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of current special education laws, IEP processes, and inclusive education strategies

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction to 6th-grade students in a resource classroom setting
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages student growth
  • Track and report student progress, adjusting strategies based on data
