Exciting opportunity for skilled Special Education Teachers looking to make a meaningful impact on young learners! This contract position focuses on providing dedicated resource support to pre-K through second-grade students within a supportive elementary environment. The role is based on-site with a recommended travel candidate pool, starting as soon as possible and running through late May 2027.

You’ll serve as a Resource Teacher for a single school, working with a caseload of around 20 students—many with autism—utilizing both push-in and pull-out models. Daily hours run from 7:40am to 3:20pm, totaling 35 hours weekly. Your expertise will help shape the educational journey of children in their earliest years.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current educator certification required (please provide images of all relevant licenses/certifications).
  • Prior experience in special education, particularly as a Resource Teacher.
  • Experience supporting students in grades K-2, especially those with autism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Comfortable with the push-in and pull-out service delivery models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom educators and other staff to implement IEPs.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate a range of learning styles and developmental levels.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, support staff, and administrators.
  • Maintain all required records and documentation accurately and promptly.
