Position Overview
Soliant Education is seeking 2 Special Education Teachers for onsite positions in the Darby, PA area for the 2026–2027 school year. These full-time contract opportunities will support students in Kindergarten through 8th grade within a floating assignment that may include Emotional Support and Learning Support services. The positions are available for an ASAP start through June 3, 2027, with weekly schedules ranging from 35–40 hours.

Responsibilities
The selected educators will provide specialized instruction and academic support to students with varying learning and behavioral needs. Responsibilities may include implementing IEP goals, adapting lessons, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with classroom teachers and related-service professionals. The role may involve moving between classrooms or assignments to provide support in both Emotional Support and Learning Support settings.
Requirements
Candidates must hold, at minimum, an Emergency Special Education Certificate in Pennsylvania or another qualifying PA credential that permits them to provide special education services. Applicants with an Instructional I or Instructional II Special Education certification will be prioritized for consideration. Successful candidates should have strong classroom-management skills, effective communication abilities, and the flexibility to work with students across the K–8 grade span.
Contract Benefits
This is a Soliant Education 2026–2027 school year contract position offering competitive hourly compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
