Position: Special Education Teacher (SPED) – 2 Openings 

Location: Collingdale IL
Schedule: 35–40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 3, 2027
Grade Levels: Kindergarten–8th Grade
Classroom Setting: Floating / Emotional Support & Learning Support

Position Overview

We are seeking two Special Education Teachers to support students in grades K–8 through a floating assignment focused on Emotional Support and Learning Support. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated special education professional looking to make a meaningful impact across multiple classrooms and student needs.

Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction and support to students in grades K–8.
Support students within Emotional Support and Learning Support settings.
Adapt instruction and learning materials to meet individual student needs.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and school leadership.
Help create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide appropriate interventions and accommodations.
Follow student IEPs and school/district expectations.
Qualifications
Pennsylvania Special Education certification is required.
Candidates must have, at minimum, an Emergency Certificate in Pennsylvania for Special Education.
Instructional I or Instructional II Special Education certification candidates will be prioritized when presented to the district.
Experience working with K–8 students and/or students receiving Emotional Support or Learning Support services is preferred.
Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
