Openings include an elementary autism program, early childhood (EC), and high school intellectual disability classroom. Successful candidates will be instrumental in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), utilizing evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Wisconsin
- Experience working in elementary special education settings
- Demonstrated effectiveness with behavioral intervention strategies
- Endorsements or specialized training in behavior management
- Adaptability to support students with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, or early childhood special education needs
- Excellent communication skills for engaging families and staff
- Strong organizational abilities to handle multiple caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
- Collect data and report on student progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff for comprehensive student support
- Communicate proactively with families and guardians
