Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Proven experience working with high school students (grades 9-12)
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Compassion, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs
- Write, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and families
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that allows each learner to thrive
- Provide guidance and support with academics, social skills, and behavioral goals
