This full-time, full school year contract position runs from September 8th through June 16th, offering the chance to make a real impact in young students’ lives. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (required)
  • Experience working with K-2 students in a classroom setting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and instruct students with Emotional Impairments (EI)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create and implement individualized education plans
  • Patience, resourcefulness, and a student-centered mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, effective instruction to a self-contained class of K-2 students with EI needs
  • Develop and modify lesson plans to address diverse learning abilities
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Foster a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and success
