Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience working with elementary school-aged students in a special education setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and implementation
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect with students, parents, and school staff
• Collaborative attitude and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment
• Adaptability and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic educational setting

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with a range of learning needs as part of the Resource team
• Develop, implement, and review IEPs in partnership with staff, families, and related service providers
• Use data-driven approaches to assess student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed
• Collaborate closely with a fellow Special Education Resource teacher, general educators, and support personnel
• Maintain thorough, accurate records and communicate student progress to families and staff
• Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing team collaboration
