Special Education Teacher in Dearborn, MI

In this position, you'll support the unique learning needs of middle school students in a specialized environment. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Michigan teaching license with current Special Education endorsement (required)
• Experience working with middle school students, particularly in a self-contained or resource room setting, highly preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of instructional accommodations and modifications for diverse learners
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized lessons that align with IEP goals and state standards
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students’ unique needs
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports as required
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
