Special Education Teacher - Dearborn, MI

This assignment centers on serving elementary students in an ASD self-contained classroom, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The role starts immediately and extends through June 4th, 2027, offering the continuity needed to build deep connections and truly support student growth.

In this role, you'll thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with paraprofessionals and related service providers. Your expertise will guide individualized instruction for students with diverse needs, and you’ll play a vital role in designing and implementing effective academic and behavioral interventions.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Special Education certification (ASD, EI, CI, or LD)
• Direct experience in elementary self-contained classrooms preferred
• Mastery in classroom management and development/implementation of IEPs
• Strong communication and collaborative skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to IEP goals
• Support students in a structured, nurturing environment
• Develop and implement individual academic and behavioral strategies
