Key Qualifications:

• Current Michigan Special Education certification with endorsement in ASD, EI, CI, or LD
• Experience in a resource classroom setting preferred
• Strong skills in developing, implementing, and managing IEPs
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and support staff

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver specialized academic instruction tailored to each student’s unique learning profile
• Apply IEP accommodations and modifications to support individualized success
• Monitor and document student progress regularly, maintaining detailed and accurate records
• Coordinate closely with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion
• Encourage positive academic and behavioral growth, supporting students’ overall development

Assignment Details:

• Full-time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday (7.5 hours per day)
• Location: Junior high resource classroom in Hazel Park, Michigan
