Special Education Teacher in Dearborn, MI

As an integral member of the school’s team, you will:

• Deliver tailored academic support in both one-on-one and small group settings.
• Develop and implement IEP goals, academic interventions, and accommodations to address each student’s needs.
• Closely monitor progress, assess achievement, and keep comprehensive IEP documentation up to date.
• Collaborate seamlessly with general education teachers and related service providers to foster student success and maintain compliance.
• Provide a positive, structured learning environment that encourages engagement and celebrates milestones.

We’re searching for candidates who possess:

• Current Michigan teaching certification or eligibility for a district-supported permit.
• Consideration for applicants holding an interim teaching certificate, pending district approval.
• Previous experience in a resource classroom is highly valued.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in developing differentiated instruction and managing a caseload of IEPs.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
