Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Previous success teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), preferably at either the elementary or middle school level.
• Ability to adapt lesson plans, strategies, and supports to meet diverse needs.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, paraprofessionals, and other educators.
• Organizational skills for documenting progress and tailoring individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, goal-focused instruction for students with ASD in accordance with IEP goals.
• Foster a classroom culture that encourages independence, confidence, and social-emotional growth.
• Collaborate with related service providers and participate in team meetings and IEP processes.
