Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching credential with a Special Education endorsement (or eligibility for state certification)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a K-12 setting, preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Adaptability, patience, and creative problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs in both one-on-one and group settings
• Develop, write, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure educational goals are met
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions and supports as needed

• Engage with parents and caregivers to communicate progress and address concerns
