Special Education Teacher | Del Valle, Texas

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners with foundational learning and life skills needs for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract-based, full-time position runs from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, offering 37.5 hours per week in a dynamic, supportive classroom environment. Serving five EC-6 students—two of whom require more functional support—you’ll help foster a positive atmosphere where earned rewards and a value system are at the core of daily interactions.

Applicants should hold a valid Texas Educator License with a Special Education Endorsement and bring experience participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings. You’ll be expected to take an active role in contributing to these meetings, collaborating with colleagues, and helping each student reach their potential. The classroom values consistency and professional appearance: adherence to a dress code that supports community and equality is required (no visible tattoos, natural/single color hair, professional attire, and limited earrings).

Key Qualifications:

• Participate in SAMA (Satori Alternative to Managing Aggression) training in October
