Assignments start as soon as possible and continue through late May 2026, offering consistency and professional growth throughout the school year.
You’ll have the chance to provide high-impact instruction either in a co-teaching classroom or as an itinerant teacher serving multiple locations. Positions are available at Coronado Hills Elementary, Cherry Drive, Woodlen, and Thunder Vista P-8, with each school valuing innovative, child-centered educators. Your dedication will help create nurturing and inclusive environments where every child can thrive.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Colorado Department of Education certification
- Possess an Early Childhood Special Education (0-8) endorsement
- Experience working with preschool and early elementary students, particularly in special education settings
- Familiarity with co-teaching and itinerant support models is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students ages 0-8, adapting curriculum and materials as needed
- Work alongside general education teachers and other specialists to foster inclusive classroom experiences
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs, progress monitoring, and family communication
- Assist with transition planning and early intervention supports as appropriate
