Serving a welcoming district with a total enrollment of approximately 7,000 students across 16 sites, this assignment values both experienced educators and those new to the profession.
Two contract options are available:
- Special Education Generalist/Resource Teacher (Mild/Moderate; K-8; 30-40 student caseload; 37.5 hours/week; July 29, 2026 – May 28, 2027)
- Inclusive Learning Community (ILC) Center Based Classroom Teacher (Moderate to Severe; K-3; 10 student caseload, focused on Developmental Delay; 37.5 hours/week; July 29, 2026 – May 28, 2027)
Qualifications:
- Current or in-progress Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education License (please indicate status at submission; CDE credential public search: https://cool.randasolutions.com/Public/Search)
- Open to new graduates and experienced teachers
- CPI training preferred (district offers training for all contractors)
- Willingness to work fully onsite (no hybrid or virtual roles)
- Strong collaboration skills; ability to work effectively within team settings
- SLP-CCC credentials welcome
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction in a classroom setting according to student needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with integrated services
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage caseloads efficiently (according to position assignment)
- Participate fully in IEP and team meetings
