Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification with the appropriate endorsement:
- Early Childhood Special Ed for Grades P3-2.
- Special Education Generalist or respective endorsements for Affective Needs, Autism, Cross Categorical, Functional Academics, and Severe Needs/Life Skills.
- Prior experience specifically working with autism populations within a school district setting.
- Compliance with all background check and fingerprint requirements before start date.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide dedicated instruction and individualized support based on students' unique needs and learning goals.
- Develop, adapt, and implement IEPs in collaboration with school staff and families.
- Create inclusive, engaging classroom environments for diverse learners.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, related service providers, and administrators.
- Communicate consistently with parents and advocacy teams to foster student success.
This full-time position offers a competitive pay range based on experience, from $45-57 per hour.
