Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in Special Education required
• Previous high school level teaching experience preferred
• In-depth understanding of IEP processes and compliance

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective instruction to students with mild/moderate disabilities across high school settings (two positions)
• Teach in a Specialized Support Needs (SSN) program at the high school level
• Develop, modify, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned caseloads
• Monitor and document student progress, preparing regular reports
• Engage with families and team members to ensure best outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all legal and procedural requirements for special education
