Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid CDE license in Colorado
  • Experience in special education preferred; new graduates with proper licensure are welcome
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and manage diverse classrooms
  • Comfortable working with elementary, middle, or high school students in various program settings

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Develop, implement, and revise IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Create supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom environments
  • Employ evidence-based strategies to foster academic and social-emotional growth
  • Participate in team meetings, data collection, and progress monitoring
  • Advocate for student needs and maintain open communication with all stakeholders
