Your expertise will help foster an inclusive educational environment and provide personalized educational plans, assessments, and advocacy for students. You will play a pivotal part in facilitating progress and ensuring equal access to academic resources, all while building meaningful relationships with both students and colleagues.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Certificate for Colorado
- Experience managing a diverse student caseload in middle or high school settings
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability and resourcefulness to manage evolving student needs
- Ability to create an engaging, supportive classroom
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and track individual education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct instructional support within inclusive and specialized settings
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
- Advocate for student needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
- Foster a positive, effective learning environment
This full-time, onsite opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, through May 20, 2027, with two positions available: one serving middle school students and the other supporting high school students.
