Special Education Teacher in Denver, CO

This opportunity is available immediately through October 2nd, and you’ll be committed to one school, providing consistency and deeper connections with your students. The weekly schedule is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, giving you the opportunity to fully engage with your class and school team.

What You’ll Need:

• Active Colorado Teaching License with a Special Education Generalist (Ages 5–21) endorsement
• Previous experience working with students with affective needs is strongly preferred
• Ability to complete and return district-specific credentialing paperwork promptly
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Passion for differentiated instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment

• Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students with affective needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to develop and implement IEPs
• Support academic and social-emotional growth by adapting curriculum and utilizing best practices
