This opportunity is available immediately through October 2nd, and you’ll be committed to one school, providing consistency and deeper connections with your students. The weekly schedule is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, giving you the opportunity to fully engage with your class and school team.
What You’ll Need:
- Active Colorado Teaching License with a Special Education Generalist (Ages 5–21) endorsement
- Previous experience working with students with affective needs is strongly preferred
- Ability to complete and return district-specific credentialing paperwork promptly
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Passion for differentiated instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students with affective needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to develop and implement IEPs
- Support academic and social-emotional growth by adapting curriculum and utilizing best practices
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and structured classroom
- Maintain timely documentation and communication with families and school teams
