Special Education Teacher | Denver, Colorado

This rewarding contract position offers the opportunity for an experienced Special Education Teacher to serve as a SPED Case Manager/Teacher for the upcoming school year. As an onsite team member, you’ll play a key role in delivering specialized instruction and developing individualized educational plans to foster student success.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Special Education (CO SPED) Certificate is required
• Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or Case Manager preferred
• Understanding of IEP compliance, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Able to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and families
• Commitment to inclusive and equitable education practices

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the special education caseload (further details to be provided)
• Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide targeted instruction tailored to students’ unique learning requirements
• Monitor student progress and maintain thorough, accurate records
• Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development

This full-time position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 20, 2027. You’ll be working onsite in a well-resourced school with a supportive administration and a dedicated team of fellow educators.
