Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teacher credentials are required
• Previous experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Familiarity with both self-contained and resource classroom models

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and service providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and differentiated support to students with exceptionalities in assigned caseloads (K-12)
• Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and paraprofessionals to support student learning and inclusion
• Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and growth
• Participate actively in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
