Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license
• Experience working with middle or high school students preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on student needs
• Implement and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Differentiate curriculum and modify lessons for a variety of learning abilities
• Work closely with general education teachers to promote inclusion and co-teaching where appropriate
• Communicate regularly with families and document student progress
• Maintain compliance with school and state regulations
