Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to high school students with mild to moderate disabilities within an SSN program, adapting curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) standards and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to promote student success across academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
- Maintain an active CDE Special Education license and utilize best practices in behavior management, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction to support student growth and independence.
Experience:
- Previous experience in schools preferred.
Education:
- Colorado Special Education License
