Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, school-based opportunity in the Denver, Colorado area for the 2026–2027 school year. This Special Education Teacher position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs while working alongside a collaborative team of educators, administrators, and support staff.
We are seeking educators who are passionate about individualized instruction, student advocacy, and creating inclusive learning environments where every student has the opportunity to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping students reach their full potential while ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Special Education best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Deliver specialized instruction designed to meet the unique needs of students receiving Special Education services.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Utilize assessment data to guide instruction and support student achievement.
• Modify curriculum and instructional strategies to accommodate individual learning needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and goal development.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Position Details:
• Full-time, school-based position for the 2026–2027 school year.
• Multiple Special Education Teacher openings may be available throughout the Denver metropolitan area.
• Opportunities may be available in Denver and surrounding communities including Englewood, Aurora, Lakewood, Littleton, Westminster, Thornton, and nearby districts.
• Elementary, middle school, and high school opportunities may be available.
• Resource, inclusion, and self-contained classroom assignments may be available based on district needs and candidate experience.
• Caseload and assignment details will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications:
• Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License required.
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and Special Education compliance.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
Education:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of Special Education instructional practices and interventions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary educational teams.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
