This full-time position is dedicated to serving at Adventure Elementary from August 7, 2026, through May 28, 2027, supporting a moderate to severe classroom environment. Working onsite, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your expertise by collaborating with talented educators, encountering a range of instructional methodologies, and developing valuable adaptive strategies. This assignment will not only enhance your resume, but will also broaden your perspective on inclusive education—all while enjoying the adventure of living and working in a new location.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required
  • Certification/endorsement in Special Education (SPED)
  • Previous experience in moderate to severe classroom settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities
  • Implement and update IEPs in compliance with district and state regulations
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
  • Maintain ongoing communication with families, staff, and related service providers
  • Participate in school-based professional development and team meetings
