High School Resource:

  • Provide primarily inclusion services with some pull-out sessions
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students following the Standard Course of Study
  • Engage collaboratively with general educators to support diverse learning needs
  • Options for full-time (35-37 hours/week) or part-time (minimum 30 hours/week)

Adaptive Classroom in Public Separate School:

  • Teach Extended Content Standards to students with significant disabilities
  • Classroom includes 8-10 students and robust support from teacher assistants, therapists, and nursing staff
  • Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet unique educational and medical needs
  • Flexible hours: prefer 35-37 hours weekly, with part-time (20-30 hours) considered

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive and adaptive educational practices
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for a range of abilities
  • Skilled communicator with faculty, families, and support staff
  • Previous special education or resource classroom experience preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom culture
  • Track and report progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams
