Step into a pivotal role supporting students and special education teams as an IEP Coordinator dedicated to excellence in compliance and case management. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to focus exclusively on the management and coordination of Individualized Education Programs, impacting student success and upholding best practices in special education.

In this role, you’ll manage the entire IEP process without direct instruction responsibilities, giving you the bandwidth to facilitate meaningful collaboration between school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Your organizational talents and knowledge of special education procedures will be essential as you ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and completed in a timely manner. You’ll operate at the heart of student services, maintaining detailed records and consistently supporting district alignment with state and federal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and facilitate IEP meetings for students receiving special education services
  • Coordinate clear, ongoing communication among families, staff, and instructional teams
  • Ensure all IEP documentation meets district, state, and federal compliance standards
  • Maintain and monitor student records and special education process flow
  • Utilize district IEP systems (especially Embrace and CPS IEP platforms) for efficient documentation
  • Collaborate to support overall compliance and the smooth execution of special education procedures
  • Lead case management functions across a diverse student population

Requirements:

  • Active Special Education certification (Birth–21 preferred; all considered)
  • Experience as a Case Manager, IEP Coordinator, ARD Facilitator, or related role preferred
  • Familiarity with Embrace, CPS IEP systems highly valued
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
  • Capacity to effectively manage deadlines and coordinate multiple priorities

This is a 30-hour-per-week, full-time contract role that centers on IEP coordination and compliance rather than classroom instruction.
