We are looking for a dedicated professional to serve as an IEP Coordinator, responsible for guiding and managing the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process within a supportive school environment. This full-time, contract position offers 30 hours per week, focusing solely on coordination and case management—no direct classroom instruction—allowing you to specialize in ensuring students receive the support they deserve.

What You’ll Do:

  • Organize and lead IEP meetings for students receiving special education services
  • Act as a key liaison, maintaining open lines of communication with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure all IEP documentation meets legal compliance standards and deadlines
  • Track and monitor student records and special education processes with attention to detail
  • Work collaboratively with staff to maintain state and federal special education compliance
  • Utilize platforms such as district IEP systems (Embrace and/or CPS systems preferred) for efficient documentation management
  • Support the flow of special education procedures through expert case management

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active Special Education certification (Birth–21 preferred, all considered)
  • Background as a Case Manager, IEP Coordinator, ARD Facilitator, or related support role in special education
  • Familiarity with Embrace and Chicago Public Schools IEP systems strongly desired
  • Solid organizational, communication, and document management skills
  • History of managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and coordinating complex schedules
